Price List
All of my portraits are created on pastelmat paper with soft pastels. In order to preserve the vibrancy of the colours, I do not use fixative on the final pieces. All prices include the artwork only. If you wish to have your piece framed, then please contact me to make a specific enquiry.
How to order your commission
To book a commision, please contact me via the contact form on our website or email amandarichardsartwork@yahoo.com, or contact me via direct message on Instagram.

When you contact me, we will discuss your requirements in the first instance. If you are happy and wish to go ahead, I will then take a 50% deposit. Once paid, the deposit is non-refundable unless unforseen circumstances prevent me from completing your piece. The balance will then be due upon completion and prior to dispatch. Delivery costs are not included and frames will incurr an additional fee.

At the time of booking, I will give you an approximate timescale of when you can expect your portrait. Nearer the time, I wil give you an accurate start date. Portraits usually take approximately two weeks to complete.

Reference Images
When you book your commission, I will ask you to provide me with a range of images of your pet/subject.

To complete an accurate and high quality portrait, it is really important to provide a selection of good quality photographs as these provide me with accurate detail to draw from.

Photographs taken with cameras usually provide better images than mobile phones, but as long as the pictures are sharp and detailed, these will enable me to produce a good quality piece.

When you are taking pictures of your pet, try to take them outside and in natural light. Try to get a range of angles, including at eye level. Avoid using a flash and ensure that your photographs are fully in focus.

Please note that I can only do a piece justice if I have good quality photographs to work from. I reserve the right to turn down anything that I do not deem suitable.
