Welcome to Amanda Richards Artwork

Hello! I'm Amanda and I live in Worcestershire with my husband and two dogs. We do have a grown up son too, but he is off having adventures all over the world!

I have always loved animals.  I grew up with hamsters and cats, and more recently have discovered the joys of owning dogs!  We have a crazy working cocker spaniel and a little Maltipoo who looks like a teddy bear.  When I was young, I loved art, spending hours drawing and losing myself in the process.

So now I combine my passion for animals with my love of art.  I don't just draw animals, I pour love and care into every pencil stroke.  I strive to capture the character and personality of every little soul that I draw.  For me, the ultimate reward, is the reaction of the owners when they see the portrait for the first time, partiularly memorial portraits.  With one of my portraits, your cherised pet will be with you forever.
